Psychotherapy
As a qualified psychotherapist I offer a safe, confidential environment for you to be heard and understood without being judged. I will listen very closely to what is actually being said and work with you to help you gain a deepening understanding of thoughts, feelings, beliefs and events that have happened in your life - at times looking from the perspective of childhood. Talking about your experiences within the safety of a therapeutic relationship can represent the first steps to overcoming how they affect your life. This process may well promote a challenge to your thinking.
The therapeutic relationship we form and then develop between us provides a sound basis for our work together. I work with the impact that the external world has upon your own internal world and help you explore this to bring about further release of your potential. Therapeutic movement can at times happen quickly, however more often than not it will require time, patience and commitment from you.
I have a deep respect for the differences that exist in people. Each person is uniquely different, bringing with them their own individual set of circumstances and understandings to therapy. It is this that reinforces my commitment to working in an openly inclusive, anti-discriminatory way.
Each session will be on a weekly basis and last for one hour, unless agreed otherwise.
If you are thinking about getting in touch I would welcome your contact
