Private Counselling

Al Skiffington-Smith offers Private Counselling providing confidential support  to people who are struggling in life – helping them take their first steps towards coming to terms with their difficulties and fears.

There can be very few of us who have not experienced stressful and trying times

Whether due to relationship problems, illness or financial issues, most of us will at some time in our lives experience worry and distress. Sometimes these difficult feelings can become compounded and situations we usually have no difficulty in dealing with start to feel beyond our control. When these circumstances persist life can quickly become overwhelming.

As a qualified counsellor I am experienced in offering a safe, reflective space for you to feel comfortable in, enabling you to talk and be heard without being judged. I listen very closely to what you say and work with you to help you generate fresh insight into your self and your situation. I regard the relationship that I establish with you as being of the utmost importance, as working together on an issue can often make you feel stronger.

" Working together on an issue can often make you feel stronger "
Counselling can help address a specific issue or issues that can generally be worked with in a set number of sessions

Each session will be on a weekly basis and last for one hour, unless agreed otherwise.

If you are thinking of getting in touch I would welcome your contact

I will be happy to provide further information or, should you wish, arrange a free Mutual Assessment Session, subject to availability.
